Tom Kamm Architects, Inc. is a full service firm providing design for architecture, interiors, and the stage. The firm has a diverse portfolio which includes work in residential, commercial, educational, and performing arts projects. The firm's founding principal, Thomas Kamm, has over 25 years of experience in architecture and related fields. He has designed over 50 projects for theatre, opera, dance, and television. The work includes seven projects by visionary director Robert Wilson. He has designed architecture and interiors in all regions of the United States, including projects in New York, Illinois, California and the Washington D.C. metro area.
Tom Kamm Architects, Inc. believes that every project has a unique set of goals which demands an individual design solution. The firm's work is recognized for its attention to detail and for its simple, yet elegant design solutions. In 2006, the firm's work was exhibited at Chicago's I-Space Gallery and published in Live Design Magazine, the nation's premiere journal for performing arts design. Currently, the firm's work is included in the U.S. entry to the Prague Quadrennial International Design Exhibition.
Thomas Kamm holds a master of architecture degree from Yale School of Architecture and a bachelor of arts degree in drama from the University of California at San Diego. Mr Kamm is an assistant professor at the University of Illinois School of Architecture .
